WATCH: The Phandemic Krew Sweeps the Mets Out of Philly

The Phandemic Krew is at it again, celebrating the Phillies’ success at the expense of New York baseball.

You may remember these guys as the culprits behind the air horns outside Citizens Bank Parkthat upset Yankees manager Aaron Boone a couple weeks back, and this time, brooms are the cause of consternation.

Brooms as in sweep, as in Oscar, a notable member of the Krew, standing in the middle of Pattison Avenue and sweeping the street as the Mets’ busses rolled out of town Sunday afternoon.

Sweeping the street isn’t anything new in South Philly, but in this case, after the Mets were swept by the Phillies in a three-game weekend set, the gesture was more symbolic than hygienic.
